Waves Ducks Metaverse is a sprawling network of virtual worlds based on a unique NFT collection of funky Duck images. Acquire, develop, and monetize your duck characters in different ways, or get started absolutely free to receive real rewards in multiple play-to-earn modes.

2. Tokens
Waves Ducks is a world with its own economy. We have several types of tokens here:
Waves Ducks EGG / Main token You need it to hatch ducklings, get items, or invest in collective farms. Purchasable with crypto, EGGs can also be acquired as rewards in Metaverse.
WAVES / Transaction token WAVES is needed to get a duck in the marketplace (note: some ducks are still auctioned for EGGs). Transaction fees can be paid either in WAVES or EGG. You can select the fee asset before signing a transaction.
SPICE / Reward token Catch golden and magenta EGGs in Waves Ducks Hunt and receive valuable SPICE tokens. Use SPICE to feed your ducklings into powerful ducks.
Third-party game tokens Custom tokens are introduced by the game mode developers within the Metaverse. One of such tokens are RACE or WGOLD, specifically designed to award the winners in MetaRace and Waves Lands.
Collective Farm Tokens Special kind of tokens that entitles you to regular rewards in EGG. You get them when investing in one of the collective farms.
vEGG / Virtual token It is not a real token, it cannot be bought or sold, but can be spent on hatching ducklings, breeding and rebirth of ducks, buying perches for farming instead of real EGGs. You can get virtual (pink) EGGs as rewards for winnings in Duck Wars or in marketing activities announced in our channel.

3. Ducks
Ducks are unique NFTs and the main characters of the Waves Ducks Metaverse. They are collectibles and a source of rewards. Each duck has a set of genes determining its rarity, farming power, and abilities within the Metaverse’s worlds.

4. Monetization Strategies
Once you get yourself a strong duck, you will have several monetization strategies. For example:
Farming Place the duck on a perch and get EGGs. The cost of the perch is 1 EGG or vEGG. The farming power depends on rarity.
Play&Earn Play with your duck as the main character in one of the Metaverse’s games and get rewards. The win rate and rewards depend on the game, the level of the additional items, the rarity of the duck, and its achievements.
Rent out Send a duck to one of the Metaverse’s game modes and let other players rent it. The rewards depend on the game, the level of the item, the rarity of the duck, and its achievements.
Trade The price and demand for a duck depend on its genes, rarity, breeding ability, and unlocked achievements.

5. Duckling
You can get a duckling from an incubator or by breeding two mature ducks. The duckling needs to be fed to mature into a valuable NFT duck — gain food playing Waves Ducks Hunt.

6. Collective Farms
An additional strategy for those who do not want to dive deeply into the mechanics of the game. Invest in one of the collective farms and receive dividends.
