Duck Wars: How to fight

Duck Wars is a game in which you fight others with the support of a jeduck of the collective farm you choose. Battles are free for players.

For winning a battle, you are rewarded with virtual (pink) EGGs. You can spend vEGGs instead of real Waves Ducks EGGs on hatching ducks, rebirth, buying perches for farming, buying and upgrading mantles.

Duck Wars rules

  • In this version of the game, the combat system is tested and statistics are gathered for further improvements.

  • Every 24 hours, a new lap is announced with its own prize pool. The prize pool is split in proportion of total wins per lap, taking into account winning jeducks' mantle levels.

  • Choose a сollective farm you want to fight for throughout the lap.

  • In each battle, choose a jeduck that fights for the same farm. Other players cannot choose that duck until the battle is over.

  • Win battles to get vEGG. There’s no penalty for losing.

  • In order to win, bring your opponent's health to 0.

  • In case of a tie, a player with an older jeduck serial number wins.

  • You will automatically receive your vEGGs every 24 hours, after 13:00 UTC.

  • Each force level of the jeduck's mantle increases your reward for winning.

  • The jeduck’s set of genes, generation, achievements, and artefacts applied define the deck of skill cards available to you in the battle. Jackpot ducks can get any card in game. 💡 See Duck Wars: Fighting Cards.

  • The rarity of the jeduck affects the damage done to the opponent:

    • rarity from 12.5% to 37.5% increases damage by 12.5%

    • rarity from 37.5% to 62.5% increases damage by 25%

    • rarity from 62.5% to 87.5% increases damage by 37.5%

    • rarity over 87.5% increases damage by 50%

  • If the jeduck has an achievement and rarity of 37.49% or less, you are still able to specify one defense point if the selected card provides no defense points.

  • If the jeduck has an achievement, when the fighting player selects a healing (both for himself and opponent) or self-damage card, HPs are added to the HP indicated on the card, depending on the jeduck’s rarity:

    • rarity from 0% to 25% gives +4 HP

    • 25% to 50% gives +3 HP

    • 50% to 75% gives +2 HP

    • over 75% gives +1 HP

  • The duckling you see on the screen is not an NFT, but only an illustration for the battle.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Log in to Waves Ducks. How to log in

    • On the desktop, click ▶ at the bottom of the side menu; then click Play on the Duck Wars tile.

  2. Sign a message to verify that the account belongs to you. This is not a transaction on the blockchain, so there is no fee.

  3. Choose a collective farm you want to fight for. You can change the selected collective farm every 24 hours at the start of a new lap.

  4. Select a jeduck.

  1. During the battle:

    • Explore the abilities of the proposed cards and choose one of them.

    • Remember that time for each turn is limited.

Your estimated reward for the lap, displayed in the interface, is not final. The exact reward will be calculated at the end of the lap depending on the total wins and the mantle levels of the participating Jedi.
