Account: How to log in to the game

Waves Ducks is a game located on the Waves blockchain. In order to start playing you will need to have a Waves account.

If you don't have an account yet

We recommend registering with Email: it is the most convenient and secure way of authentication.

With an Email account, you can play in any browser on any device; just enter your email and password to log in. If you forget your password, you can quickly restore access to your Waves account using your email.

There is no need to care about keeping your private key secret: the key is split into several parts stored separately by independent participants — see Decentralized threshold crypto custody for details.

1. On the login page at https://wavesducks.com/login, click Sign Up.
2. Enter your email address.

3. Create and confirm a password.

4. Click Create Account.
5. On the next screen, enter the six-digit code that you receive in the mail.
6. Enter your password again and click Log In.

💡 Tip. For maximum security of your funds, enable two-factor authentication (one-time password login) in your account. Go to WX.Network and follow the instructions.

If you already have an account

• If you have an Email account, just enter your email and password at https://wavesducks.com/login.

• If you use the Keeper Wallet browser extension, click the Use Waves Keeper link at the bottom of the login page and sign the auth request.

• If you have a WX Network Seed account, you can log in to the game in the same browser where you use WX Network, with the same password. To do this, click the Seed link at the bottom of the login page. Be careful: the Seed account is stored in the browser’s local storage, and the password is only valid in a certain browser on a certain device. So if you want to play in another browser, first open the WX Network website and import your account via the seed. If the browser does not yet contain a Seed account, the service prompts you to create one. If you accidentally created an account in this way, remember to find the seed phrase in the WX Network settings and write it down. How to import the account to Keeper Wallet

Once you install Keeper Wallet on your device, follow the simple steps to import your email-based account, SEED, or even Ledger wallet. Here's a link to a detailed guide for your convenience:

How to import an email-based account:

1. In the add account window, click import -> "Email Account"

2. Enter your email and password, then click Continue

3. Enter the account name. Only you will see it. Then click Continue.

3. Click Finish

How to import SEED-based account:

1. In the add account window, click Or import via → Seed Phrase or Private Key

2. Switch to the relevant tab and paste your secret phrase or private key. Check the generated Waves address. If everything is correct, click Import Account

3. Enter the account name. Only you will see it. Then click Continue

4. Click Finish

How to get started on mobile devices

1. Select a suitable option to import an "Email account" or "Seed Phrase or Private Key" account

2. Tap Import Wallet. Create and confirm a password.

💡 Additionally, you can set a 4-digit PIN code to enter the app

3. Enter or paste your secret phrase, or log in with your email and password credentials. Check the generated Waves address to ensure you did authorize with the relevant address

How to add Waves Network in MetaMask wallet

In order to play with MetaMask in Waves Ducks, first of all, you need to switch it to the Waves network

To do so, open your MetaMask browser extension and click Add Network

In the window that opens, specify the following parameters and click Save: Network Name: Waves

New RPC URL: https://nodes.wavesnodes.com/eth

Chain ID: 87

Currency Symbol: WAVES

Block Explorer URL: https://wavesexplorer.com/
