Mutants are a long-planned step in the development of Waves Ducks by our team. It can be created by breeding "Obstinate" duck with "Obstinate" turtle and carries the Farming benefits of both parents.
Mutants created from duck and turtle are farming both $EGG+vEGG and $SPICE+feed limit depending on ducks/turtles genes amount. Farm Power: The mutant's FarmPower formula is the same as in Farming 2.0 for ducks. This means that the more unique genes a mutant has, the more farm Power it will have. For example: DATADATADATADATB = only 2 unique genes (A,B) TATBTCTDTEDADBDC = 5 unique genes (A,B,C,D,E) If the genes from a duck and a turtle are the same, they count for one gene. So you are better off breeding ducks and turtles with different genes. $EGG+vEGG and $SPICE+feed limit rewards:
Mutants farm $EGG/$SPICE from the non-burning AMM pool based on their FarmPower.
10% of the $SPICE fed to Genesis ducklings goes to mutants.
15% of vEGG spent by all users goes to farming mutants.
Breeding Rules: To hatch mutant, you will need to breed the Obstinate duck and the Obstinate Turtle. Each following mutant breed becomes more expensive to increase their rarity in the game, and is calculated using this formula:
Mutants takes 1 gene from one of the parent 8 times. The mutant has a total of 8 genes, paired with D/T prefix - from a duck or turtle. For example: DADBDCDETATBTCTE, 4 duck's genes (A,B,C,E) and 4 turtle's genes (A,B,C,E) Since mutants are currently the highest and rarest class of creatures in our WavesDucks Metaverse, you'll be taking a risk by hatching a mutant. If the mutant takes 8 genes from only one parent, it will die (but this probability is quite small) Also, while breeding, each parent has a 10% chance of dying
Mutariums are in five colours.
Colors A, B, C are available for purchase - 4 $EGG, can be paid up to 100% for vEGG. Also you can get 10% discount using the Mistletoe.
Colors D, G can be won as NFTs and will be available to be redeemed by yourself or sold to other users. You can get them in duck rebirth and turtle rebirth.
50% of the boosted "Feed limit" item by any user is allocated to mutants. Rarity: Rarity depends on the number of genes and the color of your mutant. Color: Mutants have their own color, for which you need to use a mutarium of the same color. Chances to get a color for mutants: 26% chance for A color 22% chance for B color 22% chance for C color 20% chance for D color 10% chance for G color
