Auction rules
Duck values and bids are specified in WAVES. For the ducks which were auctioned earlier, values and bids may be indicated in Waves Ducks EGGs. You can see EGG/WAVES exchange rate at Swop.fi or WX Network.
The “seller” specifies the initial value of the duck and the value for instant exchange.
The “buyer” has the option to:
make an exchange immediately at the value for instant exchange,
place a bid not lower than the initial value.
The “seller” can accept the highest bid or cancel the auction.
The “buyer” can withdraw their bid at any time.
When an auction is completed or canceled, the “buyers” do not get their bids back automatically but are able to cancel them.
The duration of the auction is not limited.
Auction commission is 10% of the transaction amount. Thereafter, these fees are split 40% for EGG buyback and 60% for project needs.

You will need
Any duck, except those involved in farming or in games of Arkimals.
WAVES or EGG to pay transaction fees on the blockchain. You can choose another fee token before signing the transaction.
How to start an auction
Log in to Arkimals. How to log in
In the main menu, select My farm.
Click on the picture of the duck you want to exchange.
Write some nice words about your duck; it may help to attract “buyers”.
Click Start auction and sign the transaction.
How to accept the highest bid
Log in to Arkimals.
In the main menu, select My farm. To display only the ducks offered for auction, click All status and select On Sale.
Click on the duck picture.
Check out the highest bid made by the “buyers” on the duck card.
How to cancel an auction
Log in to Arkimals.
In the main menu, select My farm. To display only the ducks offered for auction, click All status and select On Sale.

How to get a duck for WAVES
💡 Hint. Use filters when you are choosing a duck on the marketplace. For example, if you need a duck for farming and not for breeding, then select the “Sterile” option: such ducks are usually cheaper than breedable ones. “Has Achievements” and “Rarity” filters are helpful for the collectors.

How to place a bid
Log in to Arkimals.
Specify your budget and switch to Auction mode. Set filters to find a suitable duck.
Select the parameter to sort the offers by. To change the sort order to descending, select the same parameter again.
Click on the picture of the duck you would like to buy.
On the duck card, click Make a bid.
Specify your bid and sign the transaction.
Your bid will be transferred to the auction smart contract. You can withdraw your bid at any time, even after the end of the auction.
How to cancel a bid
Log in to Arkimals.
Click Cancel bid under the picture of the duck for which you previously placed a bid.
Sign the transaction. The bid will be returned to you.
